Quantedge Advancement Initiative is a registered grant-making charity in Singapore that funds international charitable and climate initiatives. Our grant-making activities are focused on two key areas in Asia and beyond: global health and development, and climate change action.
We adopt a learning approach to the programmes we fund and are committed to close collaboration with our partner organisations, philanthropic networks, and external experts to enrich our knowledge base and inform our ​grant-making strategies. ​​​​​
Although Southeast Asia has achieved significant progress in the last decade, the prevalence of stunting and wasting in the region is still higher than the global average.  Urgent healthcare needs persist across the region, where there are less than 3 skilled healthcare workers per 1,000 people. Alarming trends of inequities also remain in the education landscape, with 1 in 3 children reported to be behind in learning outcomes.

We are committed to supporting impactful health and development solutions in the following areas, with a present focus on Southeast Asia:
  1. Early childhood development, especially in maternal, newborn, child health and nutrition, and early learning
  2. Technical and vocational education and training for youths
  3. Basic education 

Programmes We Support:

Southeast Asia is one of the world’s most vulnerable regions to the impacts of climate change. Not only is the region witnessing the world’s biggest jump in greenhouse gas emissions, more than half its population is threatened by sea-level rise. Yet at the same time, the region is home to numerous biodiversity hotspots and some of the world’s most carbon-rich ecosystems — including peatlands, forests, mangroves, and seagrass.

We identify and support impactful climate solutions with the aim of harnessing Southeast Asia’s immense potential for climate adaptation and mitigation, especially in the following areas:
  1. Nature-based solutions across terrestrial, coastal and marine ecosystems
  2. Sustainable agriculture and livelihoods

Global Scholarships

Quantedge Foundation provides overseas university scholarships as part of our efforts to ensure quality education access regardless of background or financial circumstances.
