Advancing social mobility is a cross-sector effort, with both government and philanthropy playing their parts to support social programmes for low-income families.
We are partnering with the Community Foundation of Singapore (CFS) on its Collective for a Stronger Society (CSS), which is a new initiative to raise funds to support lower-income families and boost social mobility. CSS programmes include KidStart, Comlink+, and Tasek Academy’s Youth Mentorship programme.
We believe in the mission of CSS and strongly support it. To that end, we have contributed $750,000. Our giving was enhanced by the SG Gives matching grant, announced during the Singapore Budget 2025 Statement, as part of initiatives to commemorate SG60. SG Gives matches $1.50 to every dollar of three-year commitments of at least $250,000 per year to CFS’ CSS, President’s Challenge and Community Chest.
