Tell us more about your passion for activism. My experiences have deepened my empathy for people from diverse backgrounds and inspired me to work with various minority groups. Despite our differences—whether racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, or gender-based—the exclusion and “othering” we face often share common threads. Activism enables me to turn scholarly insights into meaningful action for change.

What are some of the most meaningful lessons or inspirations from your journey? When pursuing undergraduate studies abroad seemed unattainable, my determination to build a better future kept me going. I once thought determination was my only strength, but my undergraduate advisor, Dr. Christina Welsch, helped uncover my true potential. Her unwavering encouragement gave me the confidence to aim higher, inspiring me to apply to Cambridge. To anyone facing self-doubt, remember: let those moments pass. With determination, you will always find a way forward.
