Southeast Asia is among the world’s most vulnerable regions to the impacts of climate change. The region is facing rapid growth in greenhouse gas emissions, and more than half its population is threatened by sea-level rise. Despite this, Southeast Asia holds some of the world’s most critical natural ecosystems, including peatlands and mangroves that sequester carbon at rates two to five times higher than other ecosystems. These natural landscapes also provide vital ecosystem services, support livelihoods for millions, and enhance climate resilience.

Funders’ collaborative dedicated to achieving target of protecting 30% of Southeast Asia’s ocean by 2030
Strengthen a landscape management model that protects and restores natural landscapes and improves farmers’ livelihoods
Scale high-quality, high-integrity nature-based solutions that deliver triple benefits for nature, people, and the climate
Develop a community-driven ecosystem management model to strengthen marine resource governance
Enhance transparency and improve data access for the carbon market through a blockchain-based public good
