CHiEF OF STAFF
ABOUT THE ROLE: 
This role is for those who are passionate about addressing the challenges and issues faced by children and youth from disadvantaged backgrounds in Singapore. You will explore the root causes or drivers of social mobility and offer your recommendations on how to address them effectively.

As Chief of Staff, you will support Senior Management and the Board to oversee strategic initiatives and programmes from conceptualization through successful implementation. You will also have the opportunity to interact with our education, social sector and community partners, as well as engage different stakeholders to communicate the work we do and rally support behind the causes we support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
      1. Research / Special Projects
  • Conduct environment-sensing, analyse social sector trends, and research into key social issues of strategic interest to the Foundation.
  • Design and recommend solutions to the identified social challenges or identify high-impact strategies or programmes to meet the Foundation’s objectives.
  • Conduct research and data analysis to inform Management decisions.

      2. Strategy & Programmes Development
  • Shape, review the Foundation’s medium-term strategic directions and plans.
  • Monitor the implementation of the programmes we fund, and analyse the outcomes and impact achieved.

      3. Governance
  • Design, implement and review our governance framework, policies and initiatives.
  • Monitor compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate budget forecasts and regular programme updates to the Board.

KEY REQUIREMENTS: 
We are looking for a highly qualified, mission-aligned Chief of Staff, who has a heart for the underprivileged and a calling to serve the community. The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
  1. A degree in Economics, Business, Accountancy, Social Sciences or equivalent.
  2. At least 3 years of relevant professional working experience in a fast-paced setting preferably in policy, research, consultancy, or business management roles.
  3. Versatile, resourceful, and has a problem-solving mindset.
  4. Strong interpersonal, communication, organisational and time-management skills.

Having one or more of the following attributes would also be an advantage:
  • Relevant experience in the social, not-for-profit or government sector.
  • Proficiency in statistics and data analysis.
  • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives, project coordination and/or budget management.

AnALYST
ABOUT THE ROLE:

You will also have the opportunity to interact with our education, social sector and community partners to develop, implement, monitor and review programmes, as well as engage different stakeholders to communicate the work we do and rally support behind the causes we support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
      1. Programmes
  • Research into key social issues of strategic interest to the Foundation.
  • Design solutions to identified social challenges and/or identify high-impact programmes to meet the Foundation’s objectives.
  • Analyse programme/grant proposals and perform due diligence work to support funding decisions.
  • Monitor programme implementation and work with partners on programme enhancements and/or course correction measures.
  • Evaluate the social outcomes and impact achieved by our programmes

      2. Communications & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Manage our communications efforts across different platforms to engage our stakeholders and build the reach of the Foundation’s work. This includes creating content in a range of styles (e.g. infographics, videos, interviews, reports, etc.)

      3. Governance
  • Design, implement and review our governance policies and compliance initiatives.

KEY REQUIREMENTS: 
We are looking for individuals who have a heart for the underprivileged and a calling to serve the community. Successful candidates also possess the following attributes:
  1. A degree in Economics, Business, Accountancy, Social Sciences or equivalent.
  2. Self-directed, resourceful, and able to conduct research and analysis independently.
  3. Strong interpersonal, communication, organisational and time-management skills.

Having one or more of the following attributes would also be an advantage:
  • Relevant volunteer/work experience in the social, not-for-profit or government sector.
  • Proficiency in statistics and data analysis.
  • Experience or skills in creative design, graphics or animation/video editing work.

New or recent graduates with limited work experience are welcome to apply.
